Thanks for visiting my gallery.
I'm Kevin Poynor, I've been a keen photographer for the last 35 years. The galleries below have a good cross section of images from my travels around the UK and also encompass most of my hobbies (heritage railways, wildlife watching, walking, military aircraft). Over the past 5 years I've also been running my own little project to photograph all of the churches in Leicestershire (no small project but over time I hope to complete it - watch this space). Some of my photography is also targetted for competitions at my local camera club (Earl Shilton Camera Club - http://www.earlshiltoncameraclub.org.uk).
There is a mix of archived slides/negs which have been scanned using a Plustek scanner and digital images taken on a variety of digital cameras. Recently I have just started using a Canon 60D, but up till the end of 2011 I was using Olympus E520 and E300 cameras and occassionally a Pentax X90.
