Thanks for visiting my gallery.

I'm Kevin Poynor, I've been a keen photographer for the last 30 years. In the last 6 I have final moved over to the digital age. The galleries below have a good cross section of images from my travels around the UK and also encompass most of my hobbies (heritage railways, wildlife watching, walking, military aircraft). Over the past couple of years I've also been running my own little project to photograph all of the churches in Leicestershire (no small project but over time I hope to complete it - watch this space). Some of my photography is also targetted for competitions at my local camera club (Earl Shilton Camera Club - http://www.earlshiltoncameraclub.org.uk).

I've also dabbled in near Infra-red photography using my Olympus E-300 with a Hoya R87 filter. Some of the results on shown here on my gallery.

My digital hardware is all now Olympus Evolt series cameras, although some of the photos on this site are scanned from film taken on a range of Pentax cameras that I used before going digital and some with a Minolta Dimage 7HI (my first digital camera).
