Most of you will have seen the colour version of this image in my Llangollen gallery but I quite like this b&w as well.
As for yesterdays image one or two people commented on what looked to be crooked rails. I think this was an optical illusion caused by the angle and lens compression. They certainly didn't look crooked with the naked eye and had no adverse effect when the loco ran over them. Someone also commented on frequency of use - the passing loop is used by every train that goes down the line (on that particular day there would have been 4 trains).
