18-May-22 Transport for getting around the Goods Yard.
Judith Sparhawk has asked if these were in use or just on display. They are part of the resident displays at the railway, but on the day this shot was taken they were also being ridden around the yard and upto the village as a part of the "Railways at Work" theme. Messengers or runners would use the bikes to take smaller parcels to there destinations, larger ones being taken by truck as shown in some of my other shots.
