1-Jul-22 Herring Gull (Larus argentatus)
Although it looks like the gull is calling it isn't. In actual fact I think it was panting to control body temperature, in the spot where it was it was quite warm on the day this was taken and it was nestled in a gully that was sheltered from the prevailing breeze.
