5 days agoWow, I'm so jealous! Love that you saw this puffin close enough to get this shot! Wonderful view! (I have seen both the Tufted Puffin and Horned Puffin, which can be seen on the northwest coast and/or Alaska, but never have seen the Atlantic. I was supposed to go to the state of Maine a few years ago to see them, but had a medical issue and had to cancel the trip. Like I say, I so Jealous! ;-))

5 days agoNeat capture of the cute puffin! I had not realized that their beak colors fade when they are not breeding. I learned about that on "Springwatch."
